Let’s show a little library love to an unsung hero – the bat! Presented by Danielle Dagenais, children will learn about bats, their habitats, and ways to support our local bat population. We encourage children in Grades 3 to 7 and their families to attend. Children under 10 must have an adult accompany them. Space is limited.
Danielle Dagenais has been working and volunteering on bat projects in BC since 2011. Every year, Danielle organizes and leads bat presentations, bat walks, and partners with others to do bat box building workshops in the area. She has her own consulting company (EcoEd) that specializes in providing bat education to youth groups and schools, as well as conducting bat box assessments and surveys in the region.
