About Haunted History
Sister team and co-founders of Haunted History BC, Gina Armstrong & Victoria Vancek, blend their passion for the paranormal with a deep interest in history.
As local authors and historians, they travel across BC to collaborate with heritage sites, residents, local school and libraries to share stories and legends of British Columbia’s rich history. Their unique approach not only entertains but also educates, making them a distinctive presence in the field of paranormal investigation and historical research.
In 2021 the authors published the first Canadian paranormal magazine, Evenings & Avenues—Hauntings in the Outskirts, a book series exploring ghosts, cryptids, haunted objects, and local folklore. Their latest creation, Canadian Creepy Cryptid Colouring Adventure is an enchanting, beautifully illustrated activity book for all ages that brings the legends of Canada’s most mysterious creatures to life!
Gina and Victoria’s storytelling program has been proudly recognized for its creativity and cultural impact, earning several regional and national awards for excellence in heritage interpretation and immersive education.
