Purpose

To maintain stable operation of libraries by ensuring that Directors are trained and equipped to step into the role of Chief Executive Officer at any time, and designated exempt staff are able to step into any vital function.

Scope

FVRL Executive Team, management and exempt staff.

Definitions

FVRL Executive Team
Senior leadership of FVRL, including

  • Chief Executive Officer
  • Director of Finance
  • Director of Customer Experience
  • Director of Organizational Development
  • Director of Infrastructure and Resources

Management
Includes Library Managers and managers at the Administrative Centre.

Exempt Staff
All other non-management and non-union employees.
