In many Coast Salish teachings, children are viewed as sacred gifts and among our greatest teachers. They remind us of our responsibilities to one another and carry important lessons about belonging, family, community, and connection.

In this engaging and reflective workshop, Len Pierre will share Coast Salish teachings, stories, and perspectives on the role children play in the wellbeing of families and communities.

Participants will explore Indigenous understandings of collective care, intergenerational relationships, and the wisdom children bring into our lives.
