June is International Pride Month, and we’re celebrating our local queer community with a special two-part event series hosted by the Chilliwack Museum and Archives, the National Film Board of Canada, and the Chilliwack Library.
Join us for Part 1: In the Closet, a powerful documentary series by filmmaker Ajahnis Charley, presented in collaboration with the National Film Board of Canada. Following its premiere at Toronto’s Inside Out 2SLGBTQIA+ Film Festival, this special screening will include refreshments, time to mingle, and a guided discussion following the screening. Ages 19+.
The celebration continues with Part 2: Out Of My Closet: A Queer Community Runway held at the Chilliwack Museum Friday, June 26.
