The Stephen Lewis Foundation (SLF) Grandmothers to Grandmothers (G2G) Campaign supports grandmothers (Gogos) in 14 south/eastern African countries who are raising their grandchildren orphaned by the HIV/AIDS virus.
Ariel Eastman of Abby Gogos and Joanne Kent of Golden Ears Gogos, along with 14 other Canadian grandmothers, visited 10 SLF partner grassroots organizations in South Africa and Eswatini. Joanne and Ariel will relate their heartwarming experiences meeting African grandmothers and observing their accomplishments.
