About Alan Cadwell:

Alan Cadwell is a lifelong champion of adult learning, with over 50 years of experience across education, business development, and community leadership.

Alan is known for a simple, disarming question he asked his UFV students—and still asks today: “What did you learn today?” For him, learning isn’t just a classroom activity; it’s a daily habit and a way to stay engaged with the world.

Today, Alan’s teaching and ongoing research centre on practical AI for older adults. He delivers “AI & You: Enhancing Our Lives in Our Golden Years” across multiple venues in BC. His aim is simple: to help seniors use AI with confidence, safety, and discernment so they can remain independent, informed, and connected.
