Bats are very important animals that are feared and misunderstood by many. In support of Bat Week (October 24 to 31) the City of Langley and the City of Langley Library is offering a special talk on bats. Join us for an evening of education and fun with presenters Terri-Lou and Ron and learn general facts about :

  • Bat habitat.
  • Best locations are to watch bats at night.
  • How to minimize a bat encounter if you have bats feeding or roosting on your property.
  • Ways to support and help local bat populations.

Terri-Lou and Ron are certified bat ambassadors and members of the Langley Field Naturalists, working as a citizen scientists with BC Bats, collecting and analyzing data on bats in collaboration with professional scientists.
