Whether you need tech support, research help or guidance on a specific topic, this free service offers you one-on-one assistance from an FVRL staff member. Each appointment lasts 30 minutes. If you're unable to visit one of our libraries, you can also get help online or by phone.

You can access this valuable resource through the FVRL Digital Library. Discover an online collection featuring thousands of engaging video courses taught by industry experts. This resource supports training in career skills across business, software, technology, creative fields and more. The best part? All these resources are available to FVRL customers at no cost. All you need is a library card!

Another great learning resource is Kanopy, FVRL’s free online streaming service. While many of our customers love Kanopy for its selection of quality films and documentaries, you might not know that it offers a large collection of instructional videos as well. Of particular interest is the Great Courses series. Covering diverse topics such as cooking, psychology, public speaking and engineering, the Great Courses makes lifelong learning and personal enrichment accessible to anyone, with video lectures delivered by the world’s most fascinating and engaging experts.

Recently, we were delighted to welcome tech expert Avery Swartz to speak on artificial intelligence (AI) issues. Avery delivered her recorded webinar, “Beyond the Buzz: The Future of AI Adoption.” At FVRL, we recognize that AI is set to transform our information environment, and we want our customers to be ready.
