Makey Makey

Makey Makey (in-library experience)

Makey Makeys are a part of The Playground at FVRL and are an in-library experience.

What are Makey Makeys?

A Makey Makey is an invention kit for the 21st century. When the small circuit board is connected to a computer it allows users to turn everyday conductive objects into touchpads and keyboards. For example, plug the board into a computer via the USB cable and alligator clip two conductive objects, yourself and a banana, to the Makey Makey board. When you touch the banana, you close the circuit, and Makey Makey sends the computer a keyboard message.
