InterLINK & BC OneCard
InterLINK Membership
Public Library InterLINK is a group of primarily Lower Mainland libraries which have joined together to allow free borrowing of materials by each other's residents. Residents of InterLINK communities can go to the other member libraries and register to borrow books.
If you are a member of a participating InterLINK library you may bring your home library card to any FVRL location to have your card number registered in our system. For more information, including which libraries belong to InterLINK, visit the InterLINK website.
BC OneCard
You are eligible for a BC OneCard membership at any BC library if you:
- are a British Columbia resident, and
- hold a valid library card from your community public library, and
- travel, visit or live in BC, outside of the InterLINK area.
The BC OneCard allows you to borrow from each of the BC libraries you register with, even though they are outside your home library and/or the InterLINK system. You can return items to any public library in BC (not just where you registered).
You can obtain a BC OneCard membership at any BC public library or library system, including at any FVRL location. When you register with FVRL you must bring your home library card, along with two pieces of ID. For more information visit the BC OneCard website.
