Home Library Service provides a free and convenient way for homebound customers to borrow library books and other library materials.

Am I eligible for Home Library Service?

Any Fraser Valley Regional Library customer confined to a private home, hospital, care facility, or other residential facility due to a disability, injury, illness, or infirmity is eligible for Home Library Service.

How much does Home Library Service cost?

There is no charge for Home Library Service, however you must be a resident in a community served by the Fraser Valley Regional Library (FVRL).

Where and how often do you deliver?

We deliver to all communities served by the Fraser Valley Regional Library. Deliveries are scheduled once every four weeks.

Do I have to be at home in order to receive my delivery?

Yes, someone will have to be at home to answer the door on the day we deliver. If you are unable to be home to accept delivery, please call Outreach Services prior to delivery day to make alternate arrangements.

What types of materials can I borrow?

Library staff can deliver most formats of library materials to your doorstep. Materials will be selected based on your personalized reading profile or according to specific requests.

How do I choose the titles I want?

You can choose your own titles by browsing our Online Public Access Catalogue and submitting your requests to Outreach Services staff. If you prefer to place your own requests, contact Outreach Services for instructions regarding the pickup location.
