A Literary Evening With the White Rock Library Book Club
Last Wednesday of Each Month - This program is an ongoing program

Classics to new titles discussed in a casual setting. New Members welcome. Books are provided.
Book Tastes
Last Tuesday of Each Month - This program is an ongoing program
10:30am-11:30am
Drop in for coffee or tea and listen to a summary of suggested books by library staff and share your own favourites. Registration is required for this free program that meets the last Tuesday of every month at 10:30 am.
Drop-in Family Storytime
Wednesdays- This program ends Mar 17th
10:30am-11:00am
Join us for a half hour of stories, puppets, songs, and rhymes. Children aged 2-5 years.
SFU Philosopher's Cafe

Two high-energy performers bring this unique and comedic tale to life with astonishing masks, music, physical comedy, improvisation, and audience participation like you wouldn't believe! Festival of Aboriginal Artists featuring Quentin Harris

Quentin Harris, a world-renowned Northwest Coast Native artist, is a master carver, woodworker, painter, & illustrator. His humble spirit combined with his sense of humour and peaceful demeanor creates a special bond with children and adults alike. Enjoy the exchange of cultures and learn firsthand about West Coast Native art. Discover the history and uses of bent box, then create your own to take home. Registration required.
Mythogyny: the lives and times of elder women in BC

Seventy-eight courageous women contributed to this amazing anthology. Several original storytellers will be on hand to read passages that shed light on the differences between the prevailing myth and the reality for women during a ninety-year time span. Their stories reflect life in an era of radical change fueled by population growth, social upheaval and technological advances. Registration required.
