Last Tuesday of Each Month - This program is an ongoing program

Drop in for coffee or tea and listen to a summary of suggested books by library staff and share your own favourites. Registration is required for this free program that meets the last Tuesday of every month at 10:30 am.

Dr. John Sloan - Author Reading

Dr. John Sloan has spent most of his thirty years of practice caring for the frail elderly. Advocating a shift from invasive treatment and hospitalization to palliative care, Dr. Sloan provides clear solutions to a problematic system. His new book, A Bitter Pill: How the Medical System is Failing the Elderly, candidly examines what modern medical care has become for our most vulnerable citizens and what can be done to improve it.

Your Organic Winter Garden with Lora Danyluk

Come share her passion for organic, chemical-free, holistic gardening. Lora Danyluk, an Organic Master Gardener and designer, will talk about winter bed preparation, winter food crops, and ornamental plants to help you create an attractive and productive winter garden.
