Savour Each Word - Summer Reading Club 2011
Savour Each Word at the Terry Fox Library! Join the Summer Reading Club and receive a free Reading Record and bookmark. Each week collect one of seven different stickers; read daily for over seven weeks and receive a special Summer Reading Club medal. Sign up starts in June and continues throughout the summer. Younger children are welcome to join the Read to Me Club.
Teen Summer Reading Club
Looking for something to do this summer? Why not join Teen Summer Reading Club at Terry Fox Library? You'll receive a cool reading record to keep track of the days you read, plus you'll have a chance to win some of our great prizes: laptop computers, digital camcorders, digital cameras, books and more. Sign up starting in June.
Read for Luck - Adult Summer Reading Club
Why let kids have all the fun? Be a winner this summer by joining the 'Read for Luck' Reading Club. Drop by for a great book, and sign up at the same time. The more you read, the more chances you have to win! It's fun, easy, and you could win a great prize! Ongoing, June through August.
Read-a-ma-Tazz!
Terry Fox Library is on the road with our outreach literacy program Read-a-ma-Tazz! Parents and children can join a reading circle with stories and songs, and each child receives a free book to take home. Read-a-ma-Tazz! is aimed at families with children, ages 0-5. We currently partner with the YMCA, SD43 Strong Start, Fraser Health and the Tri-City Women’s Resource Centre. Please contact us if your community group is interested in the program. Read-a-ma-Tazz! is proudly sponsored by Can-West Raise-A-Reader.
