Reading Rocks! - Preschool to Grade 6

Discover that “Reading Rocks!” this summer at Fraser Valley Regional Library. Find out how much fun reading can be by joining the annual Summer Reading Club sponsored by the British Columbia Library Association and public libraries around the province.

Whether you are curled up in a comfy chair, swinging in a hammock, soaking in the bathtub or snuggled under the covers of your bed, everyone agrees that Reading Rocks! This year’s theme celebrates the joy of reading for pleasure anytime, anywhere. FVRL is offering kids the opportunity to explore the wonderful world of children’s literature through books, contests and various entertaining programs.

This free club promotes recreational reading throughout the summer break and encourages kids and their families to feel comfortable using libraries and library resources. When kids join the club they will receive a colourful reading record, a bookmark and weekly stickers.
