Babytime

Fingerplays, songs and rhymes for babies under 2 years old. Also, find out what great resources the library has for new parents.

For babies 0 to 23 months and their caregivers. Registration required.
Family Storytime

Join library staff for an entertaining half hour of stories, songs, rhymes and finger puppets. This is a great way to introduce two- to six-year-olds to books and reading. Parents are encouraged to join in the fun. Registration required.

Free Computer Training

Muriel Arnason Library offers free Internet training in small groups. Topics covered are How to Use the Mouse, Internet Basics, Effective Internet Searching, and How to Use Email.
Registration is required. Classes are ongoing - please book in advance

4th Weds each month (except July, Aug & Dec) - This program is an ongoing program
7:00pm-8:30pm
Do you enjoy reading and talking about books? Join us every fourth Wednesday evening and add your voice to our discussions. New members are welcome. Copies of the current month's book are available at the library. The Book Club will not meet in July, August or December.
Pajama Storytime
1st Weds each month- This program ends Dec 1st
7:00pm-7:30pm
Join us for a half hour of stories, rhymes and songs for children aged two to six and their caregivers. Children are welcome to come in pajamas and bring a favourite soft toy. Registration required.

Preparing for Retirement: It's Not Just About the Money
Wednesday, Sep 15th
6:00pm-8:00pm
Retirement is not the end; it is a new beginning. While financial security is important, there are other considerations such as health, social relationships, family and some form of work involvement, whether for pay or as a volunteer. This workshop will encourage participants to explore and share their attitudes and feelings about retirement.
