MISSION LIBRARY PROGRAMS

VOLUNTEER “READING BUDDIES” NEEDED AT LIBRARY
This volunteer opportunity at Mission Library that matches volunteers with children to encourage the enjoyment of reading. Once a week “buddies” meet after school in the library for one hour of reading together. Please contact the library. Volunteers will be given an orientation. Co-sponsored with Literacy in Motion.
Friends of the Library – Friends Are Fun!
Help promote the library and meet other people who love to read! As a Friend you will support fund-raising activities, raise awareness of the library, attend appreciation events; receive newsletters; and you’ll take pride in supporting your local library.

Festival of Aboriginal Artists: Curtis Clearsky

Come to the library for a live performance by Aboriginal artist, Curtis Clearsky. His performance will include acapella, contemporary spoken word, hip hop and the sharing of traditional stories.
Spin A Tale - Weave A Yarn

Making the Arts Connection - Club Native
