Seniors' Month - Tell Us Your Story

Seniors (60+) are invited to share a story or memory with us in 250 words or less. Submissions must be typewritten, and will be displayed in the library throughout the month of June. Each story or memory that you submit allows you to enter a prize draw.

Pyjama Storytime

Join us for a half hour of stories, rhymes, songs and puppets for children aged two to six and their caregivers. Children are welcome to come in pyjamas and bring a soft toy.  


Family Storytime

Family storytimes are designed for children ages 2 to 6 and their caregivers. Join library staff for an entertaining half-hour of stories, songs, rhymes and puppets. This is a great way to introduce young children to books and reading. Caregivers are encouraged to join in the fun.

Get ready to go Up, Up and Away with award-winning magician and educator, the Great Smartini.  "Amazing" and "hilarious" are just some of the words that have been used by previous audience to describe Smartini's magic. Join the Great Smartini as he makes reading magical! Registration begins June 15.


Blast Off with Janine the Jenius! ||| Tuesday, Jul 16th

Join Janine the Jenius in the Science Works Lab and explore what makes things go Up, Up and Away!  Junior Geniuses will witness the power of gases, like the power that makes rockets blast-off! Watch out overhead for the amazing astrocork and the acrobatic rocket balloons, count down to the rocket cannon race, and cool off with an exploding space gas bubble on your head. Be on time for this uplifting science show - you don't want to be late for this lift-off! Registration begins June 15.
