2009 Arts Critique

Are you developing your talents as an artist, but feel like you could use some constructive feedback? On the last Monday of each month, the City of Langley Library hosts an arts critique in the lounge. Bring a piece of your art to be discussed and interpreted by your fellow participants, as well as by an experienced artist facilitator. This is a relaxed and friendly environment where you can connect with likeminded people and pick up some great suggestions along the way! Presented in partnership with the Langley Arts Council. Please join us to enjoy the Voices of Oneness Choir, directed by Amy Stephens, and an informative talk by Dr. Lee Brown on "Justice in the New Age". This talk will explore the Iroquoian Great Law of Peace and the Baha'i Kitab-I-Aqdas and their implications for justice and peace, with specific reference to the Aboriginal experience of colonization in Canada. Questions are welcomed.
