On the last Monday of each month, the City of Langley Library hosts an arts critique in the lounge. Bring a piece of your art to be discussed and interpreted by your fellow participants, as well as by an experienced artist facilitator. This is a relaxed and friendly environment where you can connect with likeminded people and pick up some great suggestions along the way! Presented in partnership with the Langley Arts Council. Andreas will be reading from Renovating Heaven, his recently published autobiographical novel about growing up in the Fraser Valley during the 1950's and early 60's. The novel was nominated for the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize, as well as the American Storytelling Award.
A resident of Mission for 27 years, and now residing on the Sunshine Coast, Andreas currently holds the Rogers Communication Chair in Creative Non-Fiction at UBC. Andreas' 43 year writing career includes works of fiction, non-fiction, radio drama, poetry, translations, journalism and literary criticism.
