Aboriginal Artist in Residence: Jay Havens

Celebrate National Aboriginal History Month this June at FVRL! Join us as we welcome Aboriginal Artist in Residence – Jay Havens. Using local materials, culture, narrative, and Bunraku – traditional Japanese style puppets, as inspiration, Jay will share the art of visual storytelling as he crafts a large five foot puppet that will take two people to articulate. Summer Book Sale!

Support your local library this summer! Buy used books, puzzles, DVDs, and more. If you would like to donate your puzzles that are in good condition, drop them off at the Fort Langley Library by June 10. You can also pick up a knitted bookmark for a small donations to the library. All bookmarks are crafted by the Fort Langley Knitting Circle.

As a part of the Fort Langley Community Gardens, the library will create a garden of oasis veggies, flowers, and more!
